What Causes Pain In The Shoulders And Dizziness After A Whiplash?
I was involved in a rear end collision with the last 10 hours. I went to sleep ok, but before and now, I have had some pain between my shoulder blades and light headedness.I have looked at some avenues related to whiplash, but my concern is that I had a head injury several years ago that involved bleeding in the tissue surrounding my brain and this feels just like that. Can you clarify this.
Whiplash management is mostly what is needed, cleaning the part with the application of the antibiotic ointment, taking over-the-counter pain medicines, ice pack off & on with 10 minutes gap is advised.
Prescribed pain medication, physiotherapy or local steroid injection may be added if there is no relief with home care. Bacitracin is an antibiotic ointment, so can be used to treat/prevent skin infection. While using it, if intense itching, rash or hives, difficulty in breathing follows. The application should be immediately stopped & doctor's advice should be taken to relieve the allergic symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
