Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a hard working roofer, off work now 6 months I get pain in my shin bone area and down to ankles up front of legs when sitting. standing and walking feels better. hard to walk up and downstairs legs get weak .weakness in my thighs when wearing my tool belt while going up a ladder please any help info would be appreciated Thanks Teresa.
It appears you may have shin splints especially if you have not done any type of vigrous labor before. Also you may be getting weaker if you have not kept up with adequate nutrition to keep up the intensity of labor you are doing on a regular basis. I recommend you eat enough to meet you daily calorie requirement and join a gym with possible personal trainer or physical therapist to assist you and get you stronger for work demands you are facing everyday
