What Causes Pain In The Neck And Back After Taking Generic Lamictal?

hello. i recently started taking lamictal from a different manufacturer. I take it for headaches. I now have back and neck pain and left arm pain which is very painful. The company I used before no longer makes it and i had no problems with their drug. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern. Lamictal is having Lamotrigine.
It has no such side effects like back and neck pain and left arm pain.
So I don't think your current symptoms are due to taking generic Lamictal.
Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more likely. So avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Avoid movements causing pain. Take simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
