What Causes Pain In The Muscles Upon Walking Short Distances?

I having problems walking very short distances heavy muscle pain I have to stop and wait a minute or two to start walking again I take Crestor and Norvasc for years and seam to have gotten worst since I started with d3.a year ago is d3 adding pain in my hip area and butt area Thanks PS Iam 76 years old and have stents one in each my latest test in October for OK. Thanks

Hello,
these are claudications, although you have not provided detailed information regarding your underlying problem, it seems that it likely due to blockages which have worsened over a period of time.
You should get ultrasound Doppler or ct angiography of the abdominal vessels to look for exact status of the blockages and you may need another stent for these. Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
