What Causes Pain In The Mouth And Difficulty In Swallowing?
i have a sore mouth, my throat feels tight and anytime i try to swallow it kills. sore tongue. my tongue l looks like it has a cut or a open canker sore on the tip and eveytime i try to drink, eat or just rest my tongue it stings and bleeds. my lips are all cut up from a few canker sores i had on it an the skin peeling off on its own and just getting worse. i have a fever, headache and body pains from laying in bed the past 4 days even tho i have been getting up to move around. all of this happened all at once.
I think you have severe viral infection that is causing ulceration and inflammation inside mouth. As it is 4 days and the symptoms are still severe you should consult an Emergency room or a physician and get evaluated, they can advise you blood test and oral swab culture for confirmation.. For now take a combination of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen as it will reduce fever and also pains and inflammation. Gargle with Magic mouthwash as it contains numbing, anti inflammatory as well as antibiotic agent as well as much more.. Take soft diet and avoid spicy, acidic and hot foods.. Take sufficient rest.. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
