What Causes Pain In The Middle Of The Chest?

Im experiencing these throbbing pains in the middle of my chest, this just started. For the last couple of days ive been going to bed and awaken several times in the middle of the night and my hands have gone to sleep. Could the chest pain be due to my reflux?

Hi..dear..there are several cause for chest pain associated with all the organs such as with heart( angina,myocardial infarction),with Lung(Pneumonia,Pulmonary embolism and with GIT(Reflux,acidity, gall stones) etc. so please go for routine check up immediatly and do the needful..only painkillers and antacid wont help.
