What Causes Pain In The Lower Pelvic Area?

I have been having lower pelvic pain on the right periodically for the last couple of days. Yesterday I was pulling weeds in the front yard and was sharp enough that I had to come inside and sit down. TOday I was doing a core workout and I again had the sharp pain in my lower right pelvic area, painful enough that I stopped what I was doing. I haven t had any fevers, nausea or vomiting. I have been more tired over the past couple of weeks.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain in the lower pelvic area is usually related to a bladder infection. I suggest you to do a urinalysis to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile,I suggest you to take anti-inflammatory medication to relieve the pain such as Ibuprofen three times a day. I also recommend you to drink liquids such as cranberry juice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
