What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

My daughter in law is having lower abdominal pain like dysmenorrhea nd a backache along with it - I advised her to get admitted in the hospital nd now she is receiving Duvadilan iv - will it b effective nd will it hv any side effects ? Hope the baby is safe in 31+ weeks if the contractions do not subside by tomorrow nd hope it doesn t harm the baby !! Does she require a decamethadone dose of 12mg now nd another after 12 hrs for any anticipated preterm delivery ?

Dear Me, dysmenorrhea means pain during periods, but I understand she is 31 +weeks pregnant. So wrong terminology. Duvadilan is safe in 3rd trimester.Why you are thinking of pre term delivery. Stop advising the Gynaecologist, she knows better what to do.
