What Causes Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

My daughter is experiencing lower abdominal pain. Doesn t feel like period pain, more stabbing pain, pushing pain. Had her period 2 weeks ago. Has been having the pain usually from 5pm onwards, sometimes before dinner, sometimes after dinner. Pain lasting anything from 15 mins to 2 hours then eases off. Not sure if it is connected to what she has/is eating. No constipation or diarrhea.

How old is your daughter? How long has she had periods? Is she partaking in sports? We need to look at eating pattern as well. In young girls in sports we must exclude eating disorders and also exclude endometriosis.
