Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my legs at night which could be from diabetic neuropathy but it hasn't been like this before. I have been taking Lipitor for years without problems. How can I determine cause. Taking 10mg daily at night? Is it better to take in the morning?
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Pain in legs at night could be from diabetic neuropathy if you have a long history of diabetes and uncontrolled sugars. Mild exercises like dorsiflexion of foot would help from pain during nights. It is better to take Lipitor in the night. Pregabalin would help to get rid of pain from diabetic neuropathy.
Hope this helps.
