What Causes Pain In The Left Arm, Breathing Difficulty And Nausea?

Hi. I m an 18 year old girl. I went to bed last night with pain in my left side feeling not quite able to breathe. I ve woken up five hours later with the same breathing problem, nausea, a concentrated pain in my left forearm, and a pounding heart. I also have chills but possibly unrelated because it s cold.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You need further evaluation by a physician. The doctor should auscultate to your heart and lungs.

The diagnosis can't be said only by these symptoms. A physical examination is needed. Taking Tylenol or ibuprofen can help you with flu symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
