What Causes Pain In The Left Arm And Shoulder?

My sister, who is in her 70 s has had long bout with postprandial pain in left shoulder and arm. Has had GB removed, EKG s, has a small tear in tendon of left shoulder. I believe she should see a cardiologist although her eval in ER with monitoring, EKG were noncontributory. What are your thoughts?

Hi,

Thanks for your query on HCM

I do understand your concern

“As” per your clinical history is concerned she has left arm and shoulder pain & it has several possibilities but here you have mentioned that minute tear in tendon of left shoulder so cause of her pain is due to this so compression bandage is required for few days to immobilize it so do consult with your local doctor for it and it will rejuvenate. If already done it then consults with your orthopedic doctor to rehabilitate it surgically.

Hope that clears
