Jaw pain can is caused by degenerative changes due to lupus and causes nerve inflammation or destruction and blood vessel obstructions. Lupus is associated with Sjogren’s syndrome and causes pain and damage in the jaw. He is suggested to get clinically examined by a dentist, treatment of jaw pain is done with anti-inflammatories and antibiotics. He is advised to eat healthy foods to soothe stress and to get regular exercise, which releases hormones (endorphins) that reduce pain. Damage to the tissues and salivary glands of the mouth is due to Sjogren s syndrome, a secondary immuno-deficiency disease often found with lupus. Get treated at the earliest.
