What Causes Pain In The Jaw After An Insect Bite?

a few years ago , I was bitten by fleas, that my dog brought into the house. i started with pain in jaw joint, then knee over a few days all my joints where so painful I could barely move, I was vomitting up green slim, I could remember how to pick up a pillow, I was cold, when i got another flea bite it looked like my skin was bleeding this latest until i went to the er and they put me on some steroids all my joints even in my fingers and toes where so painful if I moved at all. It all lasted about a week

Hi,

It looks like you were bitten by a tick that causes Lyme disease, not by a flea. Lyme disease has joint pain, fever, and erythema. You should have been tested with the Widal test and western blot.

The treatment is with Doxycycline for 14 days.
