What Causes Pain In The Hips On The Right Side?

I did a Cologuard and the result was Positive. I am having a colonoscopy on Wednesday. I have a soreness in my right side about where your thumb would be with hand on hip. I am a 79 year old female and do not take any prescription drugs and in seemingly good health. I am worried. Thank you for a comment. Janice Kilpatrick

Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

There are plenty of reasons which can give those symptoms. Before the further examination, I will suggest you wait for the results of colonoscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Esmeralda Sera,
Oncologist
