I need to know what questions to ask my doctor to receive a medical opinion. I need a medical opinion specifically giving the nexus, between my service connected right knee injury, and the problems i am now having in my right hip. In addition, it is creating a problem with left left leg, because of balance and pain, that is created due to weight bearing, on the right leg.

Hello,

You are having pain in the hips and you had a knee injury? is that right? if so first you describe the trauma how it happened to the doctor.

Because it is necessary for us to know how the impact was and what all might be damaged. Now you have pain in the hip that means referred pain or there was an impact there also.

So, for now, you need to get an x-ray of hip and knee to know what is pathology and now you can describe your disability that you are not able to bear weight and another leg also pains due to walking.

So with this structured history, your doctor will do the needful. For now, you can take any painkiller until you go to the doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
