I read your question carefully and understand your concern. A headache which occurs with standing up is suggestive of a spinal fluid leak. This usually closes by itself within a few days, but it is advised to see a doctor to get an MRI scan to rule out other causes of headache. Take Tylenol (max 3g a day) and caffeine (200mg 1-1-0) for pain relief.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,
Dr. Wu
