What Causes Pain In The Gums And Tongue After Tooth Extraction?

hi doctor on the 24th of January i went for tooth extraction because of pain i went back to the dentist and they gave me injection again and they pull a piece of tooth again my gums are still not healed now my tongue is painful like someone has pull it out

Pain in gums and tongue after tooth extraction that too after almost about 2 months is not normal..
There is a possibility that there can be any root pieces still remaining in the extraction​ site that is not letting the gum heal or there is also a possibility that your tongue is rubbing against any sharp portion of any tooth or remaining root pieces that is causing pain in tongue..

So a clinical examination is a must to check what exactly is causing the problems..

It will be wise to consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated..

For now to reduce pain and inflammation you can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen.
You can also take a short course of antibiotics like Amoxicillin after consulting a local Physician.
You should also do warm saline gargle.
