What Causes Pain In The Groin Area On The Left Side?
Through day at work ( a lot of getting up from and into chair at desk, also short walking) my left groin , inner aspect, has worsened. Started out feeling like I had slept wrong and just needed to straighten something back onto place, like a tendon? Pain has worsened the rough day and walking with a limp. Hurts more to extend or straighten joint/ thigh than to contract it. Pain about 6-7. Am resting it now, have not tried ice or heat. Took 3 ibuprofens when I got home from work. I am a nurse at a clinic. Any hints?

this could be due to a ureteric stone or lumber disc prolapse.. please get an abdominal ultrasound and a urine analysis to exclude ureteric stone.. if excluded then I would recommend that you get a ct scan on lumber vertebrae to exclude disc prolapse
