What Causes Pain In The Feet After Gallbladder Removal?

I have always had a job standing for 8 to 12 hours a day. I had my gallbladder out 5 years ago and ever since the tops of my feet hurt after I get off work so bad I can t walk comfortably. The only way I sleep at night is by putting Salanpa s on the top of my feet. Why is this happening?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

You should rule out arthritis like joint inflammation. You have prone occupation for development of arthritis. You can be prescribed non steroid anti inflammatory drug for pain and inflammation relief. I suggest you to investigate with ESR, ANA, digital ankle joint x ray for primary work up.You can consult Orthopaedic surgeon for examination of joint.

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
