What Causes Pain In The Elbows And Shoulders?

I have pain in my hand elbows and shoulders in the joints the worst pain is in my hands and wrist, doctors 1st thought that it was rheumatoid arthritis and was treated for 2yrs with meds , lab work keep showing no sign of rheumatoid the symptoms are swollen hands pain when moving my joints or when resting when I close my hand my joints pop and when I have what I call a flare up my hands will get real hot my hands are always swollen in the morning and hurt constantly
