What Causes Pain In The Chest While Suffering From Costochondritis?
I have diagnosed costochondritis for many years and was just doing a lot of heavy lifting over the weekend. Started getting sharp pains off and on over the last couple of days in my chest and upper back, both left side (which took most of the weight of the lifting) but given my age (56) and being overweight, should I be concerned about my heart?

hi first you must be sure where is exactly the pain is Left or right
and where is your heart do u have dextrocardia
a Chest x-ray PA tell about heart side or inter costal study
if you have a heart related issues simple and cheap test ECG will tell you about ur heart
be sure for treatment
