General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is possible that it is muscular pain as the pain occurs on movement and is relieved while on rest. It may have happened because of lifting heavy weights which may have lead to a muscle spasm. But it is advisable that you get his EKG done as the pain of angina also presents in the same manner.

In case it is cardiac in origin, it will need further investigation. Once that is ruled out you can take a muscle relaxant like chlorzoxazone and ice the region to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
