What Causes Pain In The Chest And Shoulder?

Hi, what would cause pain on the right chest area that goes to your shoulder and up the side of your neck to where you can t lift much of anything? I am a male, 40 years of age. Recently it has become very paintful most of the time. Unable to really lift anything. Sometimes I have to hold my arm because the pain in my chest area is so strong. What could it be? Thank you very much
