Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have gastritis which is precipitated due low physical movement due to herniation of lumbar spine at L4 & L5. The gastritis results in severe chest and arm pain. The doctor prescribed Duphalex syrup to get peristalic movement to ease the constipation. However Duphalac causes increased gastritist and occasional pain in the chest and arms is increased. I am a 69 years old Male. Tried Omez recently and acheived slight peristatic movement. But the pains come on especially when I am rushed to dress up.
The symptoms you have mentioned are less likely due to gastritis especially pain radiation to arm and while exertion these symptoms are more of cardiac in nature you need to consult a doctor and preferably get a treadmill test done in addition to ECG.
