General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that pain in calf muscles could be due to many reasons like electrolyte imbalance, varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis or nerve compression. I would advise you to get a serum electrolyte done. Also visit your physician for physical examination your leg to rule out varicose veins or deep vein thrombosis. He may ask you to get an MRI or color Doppler of veins depending on the result of your physical examination. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
