What Causes Pain In The Buttocks?

I am having pain in both my buttock cheeks more so on my right side. I have had strains before and that is what it feels like. I walk a lot at work . It does not both me when I sleep but when I get up in the mornings I am stiff but after I start walking it seems to get better but the annoying pain (not bad) seems to still be there. I have broken /dislocated my ankle about 8 years ago and compensates my right leg for my foot all through out the day. Could this be some of the cause for the pain in my buttocks?

Hi,

It can be due to strain and lot of walking. Apply analgesic ointment externally and warm phomantation. Take tab Combiflam tablet twice daily after food.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
