What Causes Pain In The Buttocks And Legs?

I have postherpetic neuralgia after a mild bout of shingles. The pain is predominantly down my legs for which my doctor prescribed Lyrica. I am getting some relief after two weeks on this med. My question is that I also have sensitivity in my buttocks when sitting, prickling/pain. Can this also be related to the shingles?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for asking to HCM.

Yes, shingles associated post hepatic neuralgia can cause pain in affecting nerves areas. For that simply analgesics like paracetamol will be effective.
