Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. I have a concern and I'm worried. Today I was having slight pain in my back, pelvis and my abdomen. When I went to use the bathroom I felt a quick sharp pain shoot through my vagina while I urinated. When I looked down I saw blood. As I wiped myself, the blood was light pink. Now I know it's not my period because I'm not due for my period for another 18 days. I also had intercourse five days prior to this and while we were doing it I started getting cramps in my pelvis and abdomen. I'm not sure if it's from this or something else. Do I need to seek medical attention or is this normal?
Hi, I think you can be having some infections. Get yourself examined by a gynecologist. You may need some antibiotics and antifungal drugs. A vaginal pessary of antibiotics and antifungal drugs may be needed.
