What Causes Pain In The Back Between The Shoulder Blades Having GERD?
Hello - I have GERD and taking a proton inhibitor, but here lately I have had pain in my back. It is located between my shoulder blades and hurts when I eat or drink. I have increased by proton inhibitor dosage which has helped but still sometimes it doesn't. I have just tried to eat a banana and had to stop due to the pain in my back. I also burp a lot and have a lot of gas. Thank you

esophageal motility disorders can cause these symptoms. get ugi scopy done and we can get the diagnosis done
