What Causes Pain In The Abdomen?

Within the last week I have been experiencing pain in my abdomen. I thought at first I was just experiencing constipation which I hardly ever have, I have taken laxatives to help with bowel movements but the pain/pressure is still there. When I sit and walk there is a lot of pain and pressure especially with sitting but not like hemorrhoid pain. My abdomen hurts (very tender) when I press on it and i do have some lower back pain as well but not as bad as my abdomen.
