What Causes Pain In The Abdomen When Diagnosed With Gallstones?

hi doctor. my mom has gall stone which are diagonosed. she also has tumour of uterus. she feel pain in abdomen in every 20 to 25 days. the pain last for 6 to 7 hours and go immediately after vomiting, in the other days she is completely alright. what is the reason of this pain? doctor said to have operation for gall bladder and uterus. is there any serious health risk. she is 48 yrs old.

The gallstone results in inflammation of the gallbladder, which causes abdominal pain, vomiting, and maybe fever.
Small stones might get impacted in the bile ducts, and cause sever colic. The decision of treatment is referred to the specialized doctor, after proper physical examination, lab and radiology evaluation, to detect any other health condition, and asses the possible risk.
