What Causes Pain In Testicles?

Hi. I m Tom and I m 15. I recently sat down(around 2 hours 30 minutes ago) and got a painful sensation in my left teste. I looked it up, and saw that my signs were pointing to a condition called testicular torsion. I did all the basic tests, I saw that I had passed the cremasteric reflex test, and that my left teste had gone up around .5cm which is normal. This works when I pinch, not stroke. My testes are normal looking, not swollen, and the left is hanging slightly lower than the right. My teste is not lying horizontally, and the pain isn t excruciating, but it s there and I can feel it when I move, although it feels more like a muscle, but the pain is coming from the teste. The main source of the discomfort seems to be coming from the top of the actual ball in the teste. I feel pain, and it has spread to my lower left abdomen when walking. I have no family history of this either, and there is no blue spot either.Teste hurts when touching or walking. Recap: -Teste moved .5cm during cremasteric reflex test -Testes sitting properly left is further down than right, no swelling besides the feeling -No blue dot mark -No excruciating pain, only pain when walking or touching teste -Pain has lasted for 2 hours 30 minutes -Possibility of pulled muscle(A chair collapsed under me today)pain in teste though -No family history -General discomfort and pain -Teste very tender to the touch -no sex

Urologist 's  Response
Hi Tom and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i advise you to see an Urologist urgently.
You're likely to have had a torsion testis, which can be confirmed or ruled out, by doing a scrotal doppler ultrasound scan.
If torsion is present, the testis can be salvaged, if treated within 6 hours.
Family history need not be present. Many adolescents get it without it.
Blood tests will be done along with it.
You're advised to take rest and keep the scrotum elevated, if possible.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
