What Causes Pain In Testicle Post Orchiectomy Along With Severe Mood Swings?

My husband had orchiectomy on the right side only in January 2015. Now, he is experiencing some pain down there. All blood levels are in the normal range, HCG, etc... but my question is, is this pain he is experiencing just a phantom pain? And he s been VERY moody since he had the procedure done. Is this normal?

Hi,

Yes it is. Certain hormonal changes occur after the surgery which will get okay with time. Don't worry, it will be okay.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
