Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain continuous activity of any part of the body can lead to
fatigue, and tear of musculature as well as inflammation..
As continuous chewing of the chewing gum can cause fatigue and soreness of the jaw muscles leading to
referred pain (pain arising from adjacent muscles or jaw joint but eliciting in temple region) in temple region during chewing..
Other reason can be inflammation caused due to wear and tear of muscle fibres due to continuous activity.
I would suggest you to avoid eating chewing gums or sunflower seeds.
Take food which is soft and does not require much force to chew..
Taking painkillers like
IBUPROFEN can help in relieving pain and inflammation..
Hot fomentations can be helpful..
But if the symptoms aggravate or there is no improvement consult an ORAL SURGEON for ruling out other conditions like arthritic changes in the joint..
Hope your query is solved..
Thanks and regards..
