What Causes Pain In Shoulder And Neck?

i am a femaile of 46 yrs old. I have always pain in my left shoulder and right shoulder alternatively. The main area is near the neck starting from shouldler. The pain starts here and goes to the temple. suffering lot with this. If I move my hand or shake little bit i get this pain. what it could be doctor

Hello,
I have studied your case. There are few conditions which can cause such symptoms.
1. Cervical spondylitis - most common cause if tingling and numbness in hand. You are saying that MRI is normal, which is quite strange. If possible please send MRI report to me if possible.
2.other cause can be nerve compression in shoulder. It can be confirmed by EMG test.
3. It can be neuropathy due to lack of B 12.
I would suggest you to get your serum B 12 , EMG and repeat MRI of neck and shoulder. I'd there is nerve compression presented on these tests than it can be treated with either nerve block injections or vitamin supplements.
