What Causes Pain In Shoulder And Jawline When Diagnosed With Avascular Necrosis In Hip?
Hi, I was recently diagnosed with avascular necrosis of my rt. hip due to a mega dose of prednisone I was given in April for pleurisy. I am looking at hip replacement surgery fairly soon. I have also started having pain in my rt. shoulder and rt. jaw line from ear to chin. Could these other 2 sights be related. Thanks, Robin T.

Hi Robin.
There's no connection between avascular necrosis of hip and shoulder and jawline pain.
However megadise of prednisone could have done some effect on it which a physician can well explain.
Hope you get my point to get it re examined for management before hip replacement.
