What Causes Pain In Right Side Of Stomach Above The Hip?
Hello im 18 yr old female i have mild pain that comes and goes right wjere my appendix is, my face is really hot and i dont have a thermometer to take my temp. Im nervous that it might be my appendix but im also gassy but its only on my right side above my hip and radiates a little down my leg and around to my lower back
Hello there, First of all the pain is situated in the right side of abdomen, not stomach, right? The symptoms you describe are very likely to be appendicitis. Try to flex your legs in the knees, then press with your right hand on the place where appendix should be and remove your hand fast... If you have severe pain the possibility is even bigger. Are you vomiting ? How long has the pain been there? Was it located higher at first (directly below the ribs)? Is the pain permanent or intermittent ? Do your best and visit an ER or surgeon as fast as possible !
