Last Friday a pain on my right side woke me up--I was sleeping on my left side. Today the pain came back on my right side in back near my kidney. J can pin point a spot that hurts. The pain is now radiating down to my pelvic area. Dull ache to constant
Hello As you were sleeping on the left and pain is on the right side . This pain extend in the back also , may be due to these possibilities , these include. 1 Right renal colic i.e. urinary tract infection . Diagnosis can be confirmed by urine examination as well as ultrasound of both kidneys to rule out infection as well stone in the kidney ( right side ) . 2 The next possibility may be due to Herpes , as I have noted in my so many patient that such type of pain ( mild dull with burning sensation )which remain on the one side may be due to herpes ( if this pain is not inside abdomen ) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a physician . 3 Consolidation of the lung ( lower lobe ) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by X ray chest . In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion as physical examination is important in such type of cases. Good luck.
