What Causes Pain In Right Side Of Abdomen And Weight Gain?

The right lower side of my stomach as been hurting and I have recently gained some weight ( not much but enough). It can also appear in random places but for the most part on the right side. I was wondering if this is something that I should get checked out or not. Thank you.

Right sided abdominal pain needs to be evaluated if it is persistent or recurrent. One cannot comment further about your pain and about your weight again unless you let us know how much of weight you gained in a definite time period (say over 3 months), what is your current weight and height, your age and sex.
