What Causes Pain In Right Shoulder, Neck And Arm Inspite Of Taking Ibuprofen?

I have been having right shoulder, neck, and arm pain for almost 2 weeks. I woke up one morning and thought I had slept funny. I have been taking ibuprofin (600 mg) 3-4 times a day. It feels like a knife going into my right shoulder blade. Today I have also been experiencing numbness in that arm.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having some degenerating changes in your cervical vertebrae producing pinched nerve pressure giving pain and numbness.
Go for x-ray cervical region for cervical spondilitis.
afterwards go for physiotherapy, short way diathermy and if require cervical traction.
Take Calcium, vitamin D supplement.
