General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Genital herpes is usually presented as blistering rashes and may later on with puss filled. It will be associated with burning sensation ,pain and itching. If you have such symptoms then you can go for herpes 1 and 2 blood test to rule out that. Acyclovir cream locally and famcyclovir orally will be helpful for this. If just sores it can be due to friction or fungal infection and in such case you can apply creams containing anti fungal agents like miconazole, anti bacterial like neomycin and corticosteroid like betamethasone for local application.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
