What Causes Pain In Lower Left Groin Area?

I have been experiencing pain in my lower left groin on and off for about 2 weeks. Gp suspected epididymitis but no urinary symptoms or swelling etc. Took 1 weeks worth of ciproflaxacin 500mg but still having pain. It s OK when walking etc just when resting.

Hi

I have read your question thoroughly. Nothing to worry much .It seems to be a musculoskeletal origin pain You take a painkiller like mefenamic acid or ibuprofen tablet for 2 to 3 days . If I were to treat you , i ll advise one tablet three times a day after a meal .

As you told there is no pain on walking , you can keep on doing some walk in a routine . Avoid overstretching of your muscles and joints.

You can use some hot compresses like a hot water bottle etc at the site of pain when resting . But if the pain is in the testicles , do'nt use these hot bottles over your genitalia.

Hope this help you .
