What Causes Pain In Lower Back, Leg And Testicle?

Hi, my husband has been experiencing lower left side back pain that goes to his leg to his left testicle. The pain is better when standing and sitting on a kitchen chair or the toilet causes extreme pain. I have rubbed his back and he takes Tylenol for pain but only helps for awhile. He also says his urine is normal in color. What can he do to get by with the pain till he gets in to our doctor?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello, Thanks for your query.
After going through your query I came to know that your husband are suffering from chronic backache. It may be lumbar spondylosis.
It can be confirmed by x-rays. MRI of spine rule out other causes.
Back exercises, Diacerine, glucosamine sulfate neurotropic such as methycobalamin and analgesics (DICLOFENAC 100 MG SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) give relief.
Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can aggravate this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required.
Avoid long continuous standing.
Sit in a straight posture.
Eat milk, fruits and green leafy vegetables daily.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
