What Causes Pain In Lower Abdomen Post Heavy Weight Lifting?

Lifted some heavy items 5 days ago. The next day started to have pain in lower abdomen and pressure. After 4 days doc tested and found some blood in bludder. Have a pain in right side now that come and goes. Did I damage something or provoke kidney stonez? Or is it cystitis now?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Lower abdominal pain could occur after lifting heavy weight because of the reason of increased intra abdominal pressure.

As you had consulted doctor and he found blood in bladder which could be indicative of renal stone or bladder stone or urinary infection.

You must undergo complete hemogram,ESR,ultrasound of abdomen-pelvis and urinalysis to detect the underlying cause.

However, you may require antibiotics (quinolones group) with analgesics, antiinflammatories and other supportive treatment.

You need to consult urologist for further advice.

Regards,
