What Causes Pain In Leg?
My mother was having pain in her right side running down her leg. Dr thought kidney stone but ct scan clear. The sharp pain is gone but still has dull ache in side. She does have a cyst on her right kidney which she has had for a few years. Urine test showed no infection..

Your mother's symptoms point to diagnosis of sciatica mostly due to lumbar disc problem. Is she having pain in whole leg? Is There pain in back? Is she having radicular type of pain? If answer to any of it is yes than my diagnosis is highly likely. Please visit spine expert and get her examined. MRI of lumbosacral spine is highly recommended. Kidney cyst will not lead to such type of pain.
