What Causes Pain In Left Knee And Wrist?

I have severe pain on my left knee (and top left) when I kneel on it or sometimes when my pant leg rubs against the top of my knee. (like jeans). Also my left wrist has severe pain most of the time but especially when I move it to the left with my hand straight out. I have seen two NPs and they tell me to take ibuprofen.
