What Causes Pain In Left Arm ?
I am a 62 yr old female. I have been having pain in my left arm since Monday. It comes and goes but when it hits me, I cry it hurts so bad. I have not lifted anything heavy or hit my arm against anything. I do have high blood pressure and am on medication. The pain is worse if I move my arm above my head or behind my back. I tried a sling and that made it worse. Thank you for your help.

Your symptoms are suggestive of Periarthritis shoulder,but anyways as a part of routine evaluation get an ECG,2 D Echo of your heart to rule out any cardiac issue.thank you
