What Causes Pain In Hips?

I recently had both an xray and MRI on my left hip that has been causing me pain for the last year. No tears or damage showed up on either of the images but I have 3-5 Darker grey spots on my bone marrow. Both of my parents have neen diagnosed with cancer and I had hystiocytosis x as a child which was treated like cancer back in 1975, chemo and radiation. My ortho was not too concern but said he would consult with the radiologist. Is this something that should be looked into further?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
hello,
I have studied your case. if there is no other symptoms and just dark spots on MRI than it is not very serious issue. I would suggest you to meet a oncologist and take his opinion. You can get a needle biopsy also. This will give us proper diagnosis if that lesion need any surgery or not.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other follow up questions.
thanks.
