What Causes Pain In Hips While Sleeping?

I have pain in my hip especially while I am sleeping. when I wake up it hurts a lot for a while then it gets better as I walk. I did treadmill last week and it turned worse. Tonight I noticed that my hip (from west to upper leg from behind) is swollen and warm or hot when I touch this area.

Hi , I have gone through your question and underdtand your concerns.

As per your description you are likely having arthritis of your hip joint. This could be inflamatory or this could be septic. You should visit your physician and need to have complete physical examination and labs testing like cbc, esr, crp ,x-rays ,you may also need MRI of joint and arthocentesis (to take fluid out of joint by needle,if is there any) to look for any causitive organism. Meanwhile you should have bed rest and take analgesics like panadol, dicofenic.

Hope i have answered your question. If you have any query do not hesitate to ask. Thnx
Wish you good health
